Also, the room smelled so badly of must and mold that we had to purchase air fresheners to put in the grill of the air conditioner. Upon inspection of the air conditioner, we could see mold and other unknown particles just inside the grill. It was disgusting. Had there been another hotel even remotely close to where my parents stay, we would have immediately left, but since this is the only hotel within miles, it seems as if you can get away with low standards and not even make an effort to let your customers know that you want to make things right. They were also working on the roof due to the recent hurricane, which I completely understand, but this was never mentioned at time of check in and they made no effort to apologize or make things right for all the inconveniences that they rendered.

I recently stayed at this hotel. My sister and I planned for me to surprise my parents with my visit. We had kept it a secret for almost two months, and in one moment, your desk clerk ruined it. My mom came in to drop some toiletries off for my sisters room and when she mentioned her last name, the desk clerk gave my mom all of my information, Stating that "We have a Lonny Dyer staying here too!" She even went as far as giving my mom my phone number, just in case there was another Lonny staying there. So you not only ruined the surprise, but you also violated my privacy.

Clean rooms, breakfast was great. Manager was polite and made sure our stay was comfortable. Overall Great hotel to stay at if your in the central area.

We always stay at this hotel when we are visiting family in the area. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are immaculately cleaned and very comfortable. The service by all personnel is warm and friendly. The breakfast and kitchen area serves a great continental breakfast. Never a disappointment.

No water pressure in the shower. Trickles at best. They're aware. Blow dryer shorted out and spewed black smoke when we turned it on. Room was comfortable and clean, but smelled a little perfumy. No toiletries without requesting. Breakfast only till 9:30. Have stayed worse places, but a good shower is somewhat a priority for me.

It would have been simple to place air fresheners in each room, or give a substantial discount to your customers. I was more than disappointed on more than one issue with this hotel and will choose to stay in another town rather than stay here again.

As this is the only hotel available in the area when we come to visit family we have now stayed here for the third time. I have say with my most recent stay was a complete let down from the minute we walked in the door. The gentleman checking us in never greeted us. I had to greet him to get him talking. Then he never once asked for my ID nor did he verify my credit card I made the reservation with as I used it to pay for the room. Working in banking as I do.....this was a major issue for me. Upon getting to our room we seen we were in the same room we have been in before, 211. And the same issues were there again. The shower head looked like it was going to fall out of the wall. The phone did not work. As we were there for a funeral and on a very tight time schedule, we were only there 1 night, I did not have time to address these issues yet again. After this visit, if there was any other major hotel option in the area, I would absolutely go there. Its is my hopes though that this hotel will improve its quality and security to improve stays for their guest instead of appearing to have the attitude of not caring cause guest have no other options without having to go and hour away. And I hope it is fixed before our next visit which is being planned for November of this year 2017.

Update after recent visit:

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Bowling Green, FL with my family. Overall the location was in good shape. Once I checked in I did have to have them fix the phone in our room and the shower head. We left for dinner and upon returning these issues had already been fixed.The hot tub was not operational during our stay which was a huge let down but the pool was in good shape with clean water. The teenagers with us really enjoyed hanging out at the pool. We would stay at this location again when in the area. Hopefully next time the hot tub will be use able.

    I recently stayed at the Best Western in Bowling Green, FL with my family. Overall the location was in good shape.
